"On "08/01/2025", the "Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor)" issued an update regarding "Rospotrebnadzor: caviar labeling is mandatory for producers". Starting from May 1, 2024, manufacturers in Russia are required to label caviar products with identification means. This includes red caviar (from salmon), black caviar (from sturgeon), and frozen roe."
