CGU Present: Comptroller General of the Union assesses conditions for the continuation of the Bolsa Família Program

On March 2023, the Bolsa Família Program benefits 21 million families and 55 million people with payments totaling R$143 billion in benefits. A fundamental social justice mechanism in Brazil, the program was evaluated for compliance with benefit payments and adherence to its conditionalities. The evaluation aimed to verify if the program's monitoring allows identifying and supporting vulnerable families, involving federal management, states, municipalities, and the District Federal.
