"On December 17, 2024, the U.S. Department of Justice (Environment and Natural Resources Division) issued an update regarding a Louisiana-based company Power Performance Enterprises Inc. (PPEI) and its president, Kory B. Willis, who were sentenced for violating the Clean Air Act by tampering with emissions control systems of diesel trucks. PPEI was ordered to pay $1.55 million in criminal fines, and Willis received a 10-month home confinement sentence as part of a three-year term of probation."
