"On 17/12/2024, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) issued an update regarding ED, Ahmedabad has conducted search operations on 10.12.2024 and 12.12.2024, under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 at 21 locations in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune as part of the ongoing probe in the case of “Magicwin” which was involved in illegal broadcasting of cricket Mens T20 World Cup matches and various online betting activities. Bank funds to the tune of Rs. 30 Lakh were frozen during the search operations, along with incriminating documents and digital devices seized. ED investigation revealed Magicwin's involvement in online betting activities and its connections with Pakistani nationals."
