ANPD inspects 20 companies due to lack of a Manager and adequate communication channel

On December 13, 2024, the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) initiated a fiscalization process involving 20 large companies that failed to indicate their Data Manager and an adequate communication channel for data subjects. The move targets organizations that not only lack a suitable contact point but also provide ineffective channels, hindering data subjects' rights such as access, correction, and exclusion of personal data.
