On 02/10/2024, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) issued an update regarding ACMA releases 2023–24 telco complaint data. Despite a decrease in complaints to Australian telcos, with 899,691 complaints received in 2023-24 compared to over a million in 2022-23, the average time taken to resolve these complaints increased to 6 days, up from 5.2 days previously.
