On December 5, the Environment Agency and Derbyshire Police's Rural Crime team joined forces to prosecute three men for illegally depositing shredded waste at Great Low Farm in Buxton. The trio was fined and ordered to pay costs totalling nearly £14,000 after pleading guilty to environmental permit-related charges and failing to keep waste transfer notes.
