ANEEL opens debate on reviewing the O&M reference value of photovoltaic technology for CCC reimbursement

"On November 11, 2024, the Consulta Pública (CP) 36/2024 was initiated to discuss revising the reference value for Operating and Maintenance (O&M) costs of solar photovoltaic technology. This change impacts the budget of the Conta de Consumo de Combustíveis (CCC), as it is a component in calculating the cost of generation owned by the account." "The proposal considers the costs of replacing batteries, inverters, and controllers, as well as maintenance costs, estimated in terms of costs and visits per year. The Agency suggests updating the reference value for O&M costs through the IPCA index, affecting only the CAM portion, to reduce overvaluation."
