"On May 1, 2025, Brazilian companies must include psychosocial risk assessment in their Occupational Health and Safety Management (SST) process. This requirement stems from an update to the Norma Regulamentadora nº 1 (NR-1), promoted by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) in August 2024. The change highlights that psychosocial risks, such as stress, harassment, and excessive mental workload, must be identified and managed by employers."
