"On 11/07/2024, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) issued an update regarding ICASA to reopen the process to license Community Sound Broadcasters. The new application process will cover Community Sound Broadcasting Service licences and associated Radio Frequency Spectrum licences, following a previous process that awarded licences to five successful applicants between July and August 2023."
