On "20/03/2024", the "Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment" issued a notice regarding the publication of the Multi-species Biodiversity Management Plan for Vultures in South Africa. The plan aims to implement comprehensive conservation actions for all nine vulture species found in South Africa, with a focus on recovering populations to acceptable levels by 2033.
