Mobilizing the Biodiversity-Related Conventions on the implementation of the Global Biodiversity Framework

On October 28, 2024, the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 15) adopted the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. The conference invited other biodiversity-related conventions and organizations to endorse the framework and contribute to its implementation and monitoring, with South Africa supporting synergistic approaches at the national level.
