On October 9, 2024, the European Commission and EASA issued an update regarding CZIBs for Israel and Lebanon airspace. The decision was made in response to a spike in military exchanges between Israel and Hezbollah, resulting in intensified air strikes and degradation of security situations over both countries. This led to the issuance of CZIBs recommending no operation within these airspaces at all flight levels until October 31, 2024.
