"On November 14, 2024, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MMA) released a booklet detailing the process of constructing Brazil's new climate target for 2035. The Contribuição Nacionalmente Determinada (NDC), or nationally determined contribution, aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 59-67% compared to 2005 levels, achieving 850 million to 1.05 billion tons of CO2 equivalent."
