"On 02/10/2024, the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued an update regarding USPTO terminates patent application proceedings for fraudulent use of signature. The USPTO terminated proceedings in approximately 3,100 patent applications due to fraudulent entry of a registered practitioner's S-signature by someone other than the practitioner. This was found after the USPTO received a large number of micro entity certification forms with an improper signature from a registered practitioner."
