Five Eyes launch shared security advice campaign for tech startups

On "26/10/2024", the "National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)" issued an update regarding "Five Eyes launch shared security advice campaign for tech startups".

This joint initiative by the Five Eyes intelligence partnership aims to protect emerging technology companies from various threats, particularly those posed by nation-state actors. The guidance, known as Secure Innovation, provides cost-effective measures that companies can take to better protect their ideas, reputation, and future success.

The launch of this joint protective security guidance follows an unprecedented summit held last October, which brought together the heads of domestic security and intelligence agencies from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the US. The guidance is now available in separate regional versions across all Five Eyes countries, with technology companies in the UK able to create a bespoke action plan to assess their levels of secure innovation.
