Brief
On "14/10/2024", the "Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC)" issued an update regarding "Upcoming changes to enrolment and registration forms".
AUSTRAC Online will introduce new and improved enrolment and registration experience through AUSTRAC Online (AO) in November 2024, replacing the current forms used for enrolling or registering a new business, or updating details. The new forms are expected to provide an enhanced user experience with modern forms and a more responsive interface.
The changes include a simplified enrolment and registration process for reporting entities who both enrol and register, with immediate email verification at the start of a new enrolment application, and improved messages and guidance on the forms.
The rollout will cause an AO system outage on 9 November 2024 AEDT (6 hours), during which users cannot log in or submit transaction reports to AUSTRAC. Users are advised to make arrangements for the outage period and complete any saved enrolment or registration forms before 8am on Saturday 9 November 2024 AEDT.
