THE CRIMINAL PROCEDURE (IDENTIFICATION) ACT, 2022
This Act authorizes for taking measurements of convicts and other persons for the purposes of identification and investigation in criminal matters and to preserve records. The Act was enacted by Parliament on April 18, 2022.
The Act defines various terms such as "Magistrate", "measurements", "police officer", and "prison officer".
