Brief
The Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Third Amendment) Act, 2019 is a bill that seeks to amend the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950. The amendments aim to include certain communities in the list of Scheduled Tribes in relation to the State of Arunachal Pradesh. The proposed changes include the omission of "Abor" and the substitution of other communities such as Tai Khamti, Mishmi-Kaman (Miju Mishmi), Idu (Mishmi), Taraon (Digaru Mishmi), Monpa, Memba, Sartang, Sajolang (Miji), Nocte, Tangsa, Tutsa, Wancho.
